- Reducing the Use of Imprisonment: Two Day European Conference June 2017. Speakers include: The Rt Hon Lady Dorian, Prof Andrew Coyle (King’s College, London). 85 delegates (academic, judges, lawyers, policy officials, 3rd sector) from across Europe
- Conference: Say I’m Innocent! Conference October 2017 – 250 delegates. Negotiated with TV company which filmed conference. Excerpts from Strathclyde conference will appear in hour-long TV documentary to be broadcast across UK by BBC and in Republic Ireland by RTE. Conference and Strathclyde gained media publicity (eg students interviewed by BBC TV, studio interview etc)
